I have a black belt in crocheting cute animals, and if you tell me how cool woodworking is, that will probably be my next hobby.
Whether in my personal or professional life, I love learning new things, and I think the more you try, the faster you learn. I enjoy learning about the whole process of making games. Game design, level design, animation, 3D modelling, UI, UX, programming, audio… I'll get to them all eventually.
My speciality is game design, and I’m most inspired when exploring game mechanics as metaphors and telling stories through gameplay. I've also dipped my toes in the area of interactive fiction and procedural storytelling, and I did my thesis on co-authorship in video games.
I have a MSc in game design from the IT-University of Copenhagen and a BA in art history, and I believe my background has given me a strong critical eye when evaluating what is working or not in a game. I'm detail-oriented and thrive when polishing and iterating on the player experience.
